Social Studies at the Junior High School level targets at equipping the pupil with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will help the child to gain a global and practical perception of his/her surroundings immediate and remote. This is achieved through an integration of three strands:
- The Environment
- Governance, Politics and Stability
- Social and Economic Development
To be successful at the Basic Education Certificate Examination students must constantly read and apply what they learn in every day life.
